Special Project on Agricultural Census

                 Once in each 5 years Department of Agriculture & Co-operation, Govt. of India conducts Main Census on Land Usage including Operated Area, Social Group, Holding Status, etc. and Extent & Sources of Irrigation, Crop-wise Irrigated & Unirrigated Areas, Tenancy Particulars, etc. , and also conducts Input Survey on inputs like Fertilizers, Manures, livestocks, etc. for all states throughout India, resulting in around several crores of survey schedules filled-up by Data Collectors. Timely processing of all these schedules leading to final Estimation and Tabulation after Data Entry & Validation is very big as well as challenging Task and we are proud to state that the job is being done by us continuously for over 15 years, sometimes alone and sometimes along with some other Govt. agencies on sharing basis.

                 Present status is that entire processing for V th Agricultural Census has been completed and Data Entry & Validation for VI th Agricultural Census is nearing completion. We expect to start processing for tabulation of such validated data shortly.

                For smooth functioning and better co-ordination with respective State Agriculture Departments several Camp Offices have been set up by the Centre, especially for the bigger states. A large and well-coordinated team of very competent processionals is putting its best effort continuously to make each of these census processing job a great success.
