Governing Council 

Objectives :

To monitor  and review the activities of the Society and its Centres and  suggest for remedial measures, as deemed fit, for fulfillment of the aims and objectives set forth for the society within the parameters of policy framework prescribed by the Department of Information Technology and to consider such other matters as may be brought before the Committee with the permission of its Chairman.

                 The overall management of the Centre are administered by our Headquarters (DOEACC Society, New Delhi), subject to the policy decision framed from time to time by a Governing Council comprising dignified Govt. officials, detail list of which are given below :

Chairman : Minister  of  State for IT, Department of Information Technology (DIT), Ministry  of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), Government of India.

Vice-Chairman       :    Secretary,  DIT, MCIT, Govt. of India.

Terms of  Reference    :   

      1.    To adopt the Annual Accounts, Annual Budget, policies, etc., pertaining to the Centre.

      2.    Subject to the overall guidance and control of the Executive Director and the Council, the Executive Committee shall take all necessary steps to carry out the objectives of the Centre as set forth in the Memorandum of Association of  the Society.

      3. The Executive Committee shall assist the Centre for the technical, financial and administrative management of all the affairs and funds of the Centre under overall control and guidance of the Executive Director and the Council and generally to exercise all their powers delegated by the Council.
